Nowruz Celebration Dinner
featuring Louisa Shafia
Thursday, April 2, 6PM
Nowruz, or “new day” in Persian, is the 3,000-year-old Iranian or Persian New Year, celebrating the spring equinox and the rebirth of nature. It symbolizes renewal, light over darkness, and is celebrated in various countries with traditions like the Haft-Sin table, spring cleaning, and family gatherings.
Join us as we gather for a special collaboration dinner between our team and our talented neighbor Louisa Shafia Thursday, April 2, at 6pm. A curated drink and wine menu offered at an additional cost and a portion of proceeds from the dinner will benefit Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition.
