When Hal and Cara decided to write their book, they were faced with a decision: waiting for a large publishing house to come along or, make the dream a reality and take on the journey themselves. It was in that moment that Lockeland Press was born. Not only does their publishing company bear the name of their restaurant and connect with its logo, it connects them to the Lockeland Springs neighborhood for which they are proudly a part.
